Over the last few weeks, The Network has been settling into our new home in Eastown, at 343 Atlas Avenue SE (behind Spirit Dreams).  In the 17 years that The Network has served the LGBT communities of Western Michigan, this has been our largest home ever!  With over 3,000 square feet of community center space, we feature many new additions including:

- EXPANDED Dr. Levi Kamel Memorial Library & Technology Center, featuring thousands of book, VHS, and DVD titles. Also featured are personal computers with DSL Internet access (and Wi-Fi wireless internet coming soon!) - EXPANDED meeting spaces!  Once renovation phases are completed, there will be three meeting rooms available for the community to utilize, from large to small.  Whether you are hosting a dance, or a small meeting, The Network has the room to accommodate.

- MORE ACCESSIBLE LOCATION!  No more climbing stairs and finding your way through twisting hallways.  The Network is located right on Atlas Avenue, with plenty of off-street parking, and ground level access.  Our flag will be hanging outside so you can find us easily either off of Lake Drive or Wealthy Street.

- MORE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS IN THE WORKS!  Some of The Network's original support groups had to be disbanned, because of the lack of meeting space available at our Wealthy Street location. 

We are excited to announce that some of our old programming will be coming back to the community.  From Womyn's Night, to Coming Out groups, and dance lessons, The Network will be going back to it's original roots.

- Public Speakers
- Referral Services
- Health and Education Training

And don't forget that for the last 16 years, The Network has been the sponsor of the annual West Michigan PRIDE Celebration.  With over 2,500 people in attendance this year, this was a record-breaking number of attendees at any PRIDE celebration ever!  A special thank-you to those people who came out to show their support, and their pride of the LGBT communities of Western Michigan!

Although your new Atlas Avenue Community Center is still in the remodel stages, we encourage you to stop in and take a look at how far we have come, and what is in store for you in the future!  Without your dedicated support and beleif in this wonderful organization, The Network would not be open!  If you are a new member, welcome to The Network
